Ever since Ali can remember, she has understood the value in animal companionship. Growing up with her three older siblings in Minnesota, there was never a shortage of animals in the family – always dogs and cats, and then the sprinkling of lizards or birds, turtles or rabbits, snakes or hamsters. You name it, they probably had it! Not to mention the outdoor wildlife that somehow became “part of the family”… That love for animals only continued to expand as Ali got older. She moved to Pennsylvania with her family and eventually started working in the animal care field. She has done a bit of everything – bathing and kennel assistance, dog walking and pet sitting, dog daycare specialist. In 2010, Ali moved to Denver, Colorado on her own to pursue a career as a veterinary technician. She attended the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and graduated in 2013 with an Associates of Applied Science in Animal Technology. Ali moved back to Philadelphia to be closer to her family and boyfriend Brian, and continued to work as a technician for several years. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and exploring with her 11-year-old Pitbull mix Daisy (her soulmate!), reading, cooking, gardening, spending time with family and watching movies. She is excited to continue her journey in enriching the lives of companion animals and looks forward to meeting you and your fur babies! Ali is Pet First Aid Certified.
